Looking for an animal encounter that offers more than a traditional petting zoo? Visit Aussie Acres Ranch for a guided Texas Longhorn Meet & Greet, where families can interact with and hand-feed our gentle cattle while learning about their history, care, and distinct bloodlines.

This intimate agritourism activity offers the hands-on appeal families often seek from a petting farm, but with a more personal and educational format. Led by knowledgeable ranch hosts, the experience combines storytelling, observation, and safe animal interaction to help visitors understand what makes registered Texas Longhorns so special.

With a maximum of six guests per session, each 45-minute visit provides time for questions, photos, and meaningful interaction. It is an engaging educational experience for children, parents, road-tripping families, homeschoolers, and small community groups looking for something memorable to do in South Georgia.

More Than a Traditional Petting Zoo

Rather than walking through a crowded animal attraction, guests receive a scheduled, guided encounter focused specifically on Texas Longhorn cattle. You will have the opportunity to feed the Longhorns, observe their personalities, and learn directly from the people who raise and care for them.
Pricing: $75 per experience for up to 4 people. Each additional person is $10. Limit 1 booking per day at 9:00 am. Special programs are available for church, school, and community groups. Contact us to learn more or reserve your spot.
