Complimentary Longhorn Lodge Guest Activities

All of these activities are complimentary for our guests!

Lake Access: Through the gate on the right of the Lodge entrance or out the patio door, follow along the alley next to the red barn, straight back for lake access.

Relaxation:There is a picnic table and swing by the lake. You are welcome to have a meal by the lake. Please take all trash with you. If needed, there is a hose by the RV pad.

Hiking: Once to the lake, you can take a walk around the lake on a path to the right. DO NOT go through the gate at the back of the lake as you will be entering a longhorn pasture. You can also head out on the slip of land that goes out into the lake and have a seat under the trees.

Fishing: The lake is stocked with bass and other species. You are free to fish off the dock or side of the lake -- whether you prefer Catch and Release or want to take some home with you. Fishing gear is available in the green game shack near the dock or you can bring your own. Please treat it as it were your own and put back for us and our next guests. If any gear is broken, please let us know

Outdoor Games: We have cornhole, horseshoes, and croquet all available for use in The Game Shack

Sunsets: Out the kitchen bay window, and Stargazing: On a clear night are both AMAZING!

Birding/Wildlife: We also have a variety of birds and wildlife on the property.

Fruit and Nut Trees: On property we have Asian Pears, Persimmons, Pomegranates, Pecans, and Chestnuts. Feel free to pick/pick up and enjoy anything in season.
